What does energy look like when it stops flowing and starts to hold its shape?
For a century, the battery has been a liquid thing: ions drifting through a fluid electrolyte, volatile and carefully contained. Solid-state batteries replace that liquid with a solid. Denser, steadier, harder to ignite - and able to carry a car further on a single charge.
Solid State Automotive is a visual study of that shift. We treated the cell as geology: material cooling into rock, strata settling into slabs, terrain folding into roads that loop back on themselves without end. Each form asks what range might look like if you could hold it in your hand.
The result sits somewhere between mineral and machine - heavy, quiet objects that feel excavated rather than engineered, and the landscapes they might one day carry us through.
